Rooted deep within the heart of Lakeside Baptist Church is a desire to see God glorified in all the nations. We believe that every Christian should have an active role in seeing “The Great Commission” fulfilled (Matthew 28:19-20). From the city of Canton and Van Zandt County to the “uttermost parts of the earth”, Lakeside Baptist Church is actively involved in taking Christ’s love to the world!

10% of the tithes and offerings received at Lakeside go directly to support missions through the SBC Cooperative Program, the Kauf-Van Baptist Association, and our local missions support program.

Lakeside supports regional mission projects and church planting through the Kauf Van Baptist Association.

Operation Christmas Child

http://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child

A small shoe box can teach a child about the love of God, lead him or her to faith in Christ, inspire pastors, and plant new churches. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out is eternal. Be a part of changing lives through the power of a simple gift.

Every November Lakeside participates in the Operation Christmas Child project administered by the Samaritan’s Purse organization.

The Cooperative Program contributions are used to support the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (http://sbtexas.com) and the North American Mission Board  (http://www.namb.net).
