Rooted deep within the heart of Lakeside Baptist Church is a desire to see God glorified in all the nations. We believe that every Christian should have an active role in seeing “The Great Commission” fulfilled (Matthew 28:19-20). From the city of Canton and Van Zandt County to the “uttermost parts of the earth”, Lakeside Baptist Church is actively involved in taking Christ’s love to the world!
10% of the tithes and offerings received at Lakeside go directly to support mission programs locally and abroad .

SHORT TERM MISSIONS TRIPS
The fellowship of Lakeside also provides opportunities every year for members to participate in short-term mission trips ranging from one to two weeks. Some of the places that members have traveled to over the last few years include Canada, New York, Belize, Uganda, & Russia. This year’s opportunity include El Paso, Alaska, Amazon/Brazil, and China.
